LAOS AND CAMBODIA
We believe that volunteerism in all its diversity can make important contributions to development. We aim to enhance the benefits of community work and volunteerism for development as well as for the individual volunteer. This is done by sharing relevant information and exploring deeper collaboration on community project, volunteerism in general, as well as specifically on volunteerism in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia. In addition we are committed to continuously learn more about volunteerism by exchanging ideas, opinions and insights on volunteer related issues such as volunteer management, volunteer characteristics, and volunteer promotion.
People that are currently included in the list are: - UN Volunteers in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia (including online volunteers) - Participants of the Regional Workshop "The role of volunteerism in training and employment for disadvantaged youth" held in Hochiminh City, October 2003. - International Volunteer Sending Agencies working in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia - Members of the organizing committee of the International Volunteer Day, 2003 in Viet Nam - People who indicated their interest in volunteerism to UNV Vietnam

A&S – Architectures: is an Italian-registered Non-profit International Association to Support Developing Countries with representation in Turin, Italy (2003) and Hanoi, Vietnam (2004). The association aims at promoting access to information, knowledge and creative networking initiatives for poor and outreach communities in order to address conservation, housing, civil society empowerment and good governance.
