Detail tour program

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city - Arrive

Welcome at Tan Son Nhat airport. Wellcomed and transferred to hotel for check in. Rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel in Hochiminh city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city tour (B)

Our tourguide and driver will take you around Ho Chi Minh City from downtown Saigon to Chinatown to get a general view of it as well as its history and culture with stops at Reunification Palace (Ex-Presidential Palace) that was built in 1963 and is well-known as an outstanding example of 1960's architecture, the War Remnants, the Jade Emperor Pagoda, passing by Notre Dame Cathedral (built in 1877), the General Post Office. It is optional to see Water Puppet show.
In the afternoon you will visit Giac Lam pagoda, that was built in 1744 and is regarded as the oldest pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City. You will also see Thien Hau pagoda built in early 19th century, Chinatown, Binh Tay market, Ben Thanh market. With a stop for a while at a lacquer shop, you can buy some gifts for your friends, beloved relatives. Overnight at hotel in Hochiminh city.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city - Cao Dai temple - Cu Chi tunnels (B)

You will visit the Great Temple of Caodaism in Tay Ninh, about 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City. The Temple is built on nine levels that represent nine steps to heaven at which you will see a prayer session at noon. Caodaism is a Vietnamese religion with its philosophy based on Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism and Christianity. Its tenets include believing in one God, the existence of the soul and the ability to communicate with the spiritual world. You will stop for about 2 hours to visit Ben Dinh tunnel, a section of the 200 km-long Cu Chi tunnel network that was built over 2 decades and used as an army base during the Vietnamese-American War. You will be amazed at the tunnels with their underground storey including trap-door, living areas, storage, weapon factories, field hospitals, kitchen, command centers, etc. You can also fire M-16, AK-47, carbine rifle. Overnight in Hochiminh city.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta - Can Tho city (B)

Leave Ho Chi Minh city for Cai Be by air-conditioned bus. Have a motorized boat ride to see round Cai Be floating market with local people are selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Walk around to see orchard, rice paper making, rice crispiest producing process, act. Stop for a rest, a free Vietnamese lunch including tropical fruits, traditional music. Boat through a village to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Take a boat trip through some islands and cross Mekong river to Vinh Long. Crossing lower Mekong river to view Can Tho city by ferry. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 5: Can Tho city - Ho Chi Minh city(B/ L)

3 hour boat trip to discover the beautiful Cai Rang floating market and its surroundings. Visit a vermicelli making shop, a rice husking mill, fruit gardens. Enjoy tropical fruit (free). See the peaceful life in the rural area. Have lunch in Can Tho before going back to Saigon. Stop to visit Vinh Long market and bonsai garden in My Tho. Overnight in Hochiminh city.

Day 6: Ho CHi Minh - Phan Thiet - Mui Ne (B/ L)

Take bus from Saigon to Phan Thiet & Mui Ne (5 hours) (depart at 7:30AM). Check-in Mui Ne resort. Having lunch. Free afternoon for swimming. Overnight in Phan Thiet.

Day 7: Phan Thiet - Mui Ne - Ho CHi Minh city (B)

Visit the yellow Sand Dunes and the Pink stream in the morning then back to the hotel. Free time on the beach until noon. Have lunch before going back to Saigon. Overnight in Hochiminh city.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh city - Departure (B)

AM: Free time for shopping

PM: Transfer to Ho Chi Minh City/Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.

Private tour: To do the tour privately. The tour is not fixed, it is possible to be customized for your group. All service is reserved for your group only. You do not have to share the bus, boat, tour guide with other tourists. One exception, if you stay at the boat in Halong bay - it is like the hotel in Halong - you still have to share the boat with other people.
