Brief itinerary & tour map

Day 01: Tan Son Nhat airport, transferred to hotel. Dinner & overnight in Ho Chi Minh city
Day 02: Visit Cu Chi tunnel in the morning. Lunch & overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 03: Arrival in My Tho. Have lunch at a typical country garden house. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 04: Fflight to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 05: Visit a fishing village, Cham Po Nagar temples, Thap Ba Hot Spring centre. Overnight in Nha Trang
Day 06: Flight to Da Nang Airport. Transfer to Hoi An. Visit Hoi An ancient town. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 07: Leisure in the morning. Visit Cham Museum. Overnight in Hue
Day 08: Visit the Imperial Citade, Thien Mu pagoda, King Tu Duc tomb, King Minh Mang tomb. Overnight in Hue
Day 09: Flight to Ha Noi. Visit the Museum of Vietnam Ethnology. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 10: Full day in Hanoi. Over night on train.
Day 11: Arrival to Lao Cai. Visit Cat Cat & Ta Fin villages. Transfer to Sapa for overnight
Day 12: Visit Lao Chai village.Ttrek through Ta Van village. Overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 13: Arrive in Halong bay. Have dinner & over night on board.
Day 14: Cruising to Bai Tu Long bay. Drive back to Hanoi for overnight stay.
Day 15: Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure.

Detail tour program

Day 01 : Ho Chi Minh city - Arrival (D)

You are welcome by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and then transferred to your hotel in the center of city for freshen up. After a short rest, visit Ben Thanh market before enjoying a welcome dinner at a French colony style restaurant and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 02 : Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi (B,L)

In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit Cu Chi tunnel. Back to Ho Chi Minh city for lunch. In the afternoon, visit War Museum, Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 03 : Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta (B,L)

Heading out of the bustling city, we ride along rice field to My Tho, one of Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Have lunch at a typical country garden house. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 04 : Ho Chi Minh - Nha Trang (B)

After breakfast, take a short flight to Nha Trang, a city right on the beach. Check-in hotel and rush to beach for relax or swimming and many more activities. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 05 : Nha Trang (B,L)

Start from your hotel to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit, many sea species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province make a small ocean world there. Mun Island is the best island for snorkeling where you can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. Visit a fishing village and taking a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest.
In the afternoon take half day city visit to Cham Po Nagar temples, and the Thap Ba Hot Spring center for enjoying fun with Mud bathing and Mineral springs swimming. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 06 : Nha Trang -Hoi An (B,L)

You will take a morning flight to Da Nang Airport, then transfer to Hoi An about 35km away. In the afternoon walking visit Hoi An ancient town, the town with mixed the culture of Vietnam/Chinese/Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge. Over night in Hoi an.

Day 07 : Hoi An - Da Nang - Hue (B)

Leisure in the morning.
In the afternoon, drive to Hue through Hai Van pass with a visit to Cham Museum on the way. Check in hotel for overnight in Hue.

Day 08 : Hue (B,L)

Visit the Imperial Citadel, another World Cultural Heritage site. Then we take a short drive to visit Thien Mu pagoda, King Tu Duc tomb, King Minh Mang tomb. Enjoy dinner at Royal Park restaurant with Traditional Hue folk song. Overnight in Hue.

Day 09 : Hue - Ha Noi (B)

Morning free for relax or optional visit till noon flight to Hanoi, our thousands capital city.
Our guide will welcome you at the airport Noi bai airport and then you are visit the largest and most interesting Museum of Vietnam Ethnology before check-in at hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 10 : Hanoi full day visits - Night train to Lao Cai (B,L)

Today we would like to show you the major cultural sites around Hanoi city. The first visit is Uncle Ho’s (Ho Chi Minh President) Mausoleum, His Residence area, and one Pillar – pagoda nearby & Tran Quoc pagoda. Next site is Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature & the first university in Vietnam).
Then our guide will introduce its legend by one hour cyclo (trishaws) around Old Trading quarter, Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem (The lake of Restored Sword). Follow is one hour Traditional Water Puppet shows at Thang Long theatre. Overnight on train.

Day 11 : Sapa - Hill tribes colorful market - night train to Hanoi Cai (B,L)

Upon arrival to Lao Cai train station, drive to visit one of the colorful tribal market near Sapa area (incase no Market available at your date, you will visit Cat Cat & Ta Fin villages).
Tuesday: Coc Ly Market (this market is not available until further notice due to the construction site nearby)
Wednesday: Cao Son Market
Saturday: Can Cau Market
Sunday: Bac Ha Market Market
Then transfer to Sapa for overnight.

Day 12 : Lao Cai - Sapa - Hill tribe villages (B,-,D)

Drive to visit Lao Chai village – home of Black H’Mong – here you trek through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life and habits. You then trek through Ta Van village. Lunch on your own arrangement. Car pick up at Ta Van and transfer to Lao Cai station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 13 : Hanoi - Halong (B,L,D)

Start at 08:30am from your hotel, after 03 hours and a half drive we arrive in Ha Long bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in shape of Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave and short swim at Titov beach, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing and later over night on board.

Day 14 : Halong - Hanoi (B,L)

In the morning, cruising to Bai Tu long bay, fishing village then moving toward Bai Chay. Arrive at Ha long wharf about 12.00 noon.
Car pick up and drive you toward Hanoi, stop on the way for 2 hours visit a special place in Bac Ninh, the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in Red River Delta.
We take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit Dinh Bang Communal house & Do Temple which worship place of 8 (eight) kings of Ly Dynasty (1010-1225). After that you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk songs (duo of love songs) performed by local artists and singers. Drive back to Hanoi for overnight stay.

Day 15 : Hanoi - Departure (B)

Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure.

One exception, if you stay at the boat in Halong bay - it is like the hotel in Halong - you still have to share the boat with other people
