VB-PQ7: PHU QUOC BEACH VACATION (4 days/ 3 nights)
Although Phu Quoc is less developed than most of the resort areas in Vietnam, it boasts some of its best beaches. Some are accessible on foot, but most require a bicycle or motorcycle ride. Both are cheap and easy to hire, but the island's roads are mostly poor. Much of the island is covered by forest, part of which is protected as a Forest Reserve.
To the south are several small islands that can be visited by boat. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing and snorkelling, and a diving centre has recently opened. Facilities for visitors are fairly basic: apart from one three-star resort, there are only local hotels in this comparatively remote area. However, its beauty and solitude, and the chance to visit the island before it is discovered by the tourism industry, more than compensates.

Day 01: Saigon -Phuquoc
Short flight to Phu Quoc island a sleepy tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand, 45km south-west of the Vietnam. Transfer to resort on arrival. Phu Quoc's interior is still mostly covered in dense tropical forest and its coastline is ringed with deserted sandy beaches. There are two days free to enjoy this tropical hideaway. Optional tour 1: Breakfast at hotel. Drive to An Thoi port, visit the Australian pearl farm on the way to the Southern island. Arrive the An Thoi port, embark the fishing boat to An Thoi archipelago. Drop the anchor in a quite bay, angling to catch few more Garrupas, snappers,... Lunch with special barbecue seafood. After disembarking, drive to the Sao beach for your relaxing on the hammocks. Visit the Ham Ninh fishing village on the way back to the hotel
Optional tour 2: Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the North to discover the primitive forest then visit the black peppers plantation at Khu Tuong, sightseeing at Phu Quoc national park. Enjoy swimming at the Dai beach. Lunch. Return to your hotel. Free at leisure in the afternoon.
