AD1-NT3D: Cat Ba National Trek

Halong Bay, located in the Gulf of Tonkin, covers an area of 1500 square km. With more than a thousand limestone peaks soaring from its crystalline emerald water this area is one of the natural wonders of Vietnam and now a World Heritage listed site. Visitors have constantly marvel at Ha Long Bays’ natural beauty. The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves that make a excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck.

Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Long bay (-/ L/ -)
This morning we will depart Hanoi at 0830 for a four-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Halong City. Arrival in Halong City we transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. Board our junk, check-in registration Have lunch with welcome wine. A fantastic cruise in Halong bay to visit Thien Cung cave , Dau Go cave, round over Tuan Chau island, Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island and a swim at Titov beach. Enjoy dinner on board while watching sunset. Fishing with seine, drinking Vietnamese wine, and spending a night on the junk.

Day 2: Ha Long bay Cruises - Cat Ba national park trek (B/ L/ D)
Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We breakfast over sunset and boat through breathtaking secluded Ha Long bay
Visit Bai Tu Long Bay , Three peach. We enjoy the lunch and continue our way to Cat Ba island. visit the Cat Ba national park. Opportunity to visit every flora and fauna. If we are lucky we can bumper into s Golden Headed Monkey. Climb up the peak of a mountain, you will see panorama view of Halong bay and Viet Hai valley in the heart of Cat Ba Park, lunch in the village. Overnight at hotel in Cat Ba island

Day 3: Cat Ba Island - Ha Noi (B/ L/ -)
Early risers can enjoy a morning view of Bay’s landscapes with a cup of tea, coffee, fresh fruits and sweet cake. To visit Amazing cave (8:30 – 9:30). And then you will continue cruising through the bay to see more of the of the fascinating formations like Yen Ngua (Saddle) islet, Ham Rong (Dragon’s mouth) islet, Am (Tea Pot) islet. Disembark and return to Hanoi in the afternoon.
