Sapa is a beautiful former French hill-station. At an altitude of 1,650 m Sapa boasts warm days and cool evenings and all day fresh air. Nowadays, Sapa has become a favorite destination due to its inspiring scenery of mounatin ranges and terraced valley floors dotted with small ethnic villages. Sapa is home to several of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups, each with their own distinctive dress, customs and dialects making it a colorful mosaic of culture. Sapa is also renowned for its trekking. With South East Asia's highest peak, Mt. Fanxipan (3,143 m) providing the perfect backdrop for some great trekking routes. This 3 day trek with outdoor camping offers all of the challenges and rewards of any hike. And, at the summit you be one of the few to have reached up and touched the clouds marking the roof of Indochina.

The Night Before: Transfer from your hotel to the Hanoi Train Station for boarding at 9:30 pm Day 01: Lao Cai – Sapa, hike up to an elevation of 2700m (B/ L/ D) Day 02: 2,700 m – Fansipan peak - Sapa (B, L)
Detail tour program
The Night Before:
Transfer from your hotel to the Ha Noi Train Station for boarding at 9:30 pm. You will be in shared A/C sleeper cabins of 4 (6) to travel North to Lao Cai town. The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 6:30 am where your OPENTOUR guide will welcome you. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1.5 hours).

Day 01: Lao Cai – Sapa, hike up to an elevation of 2700m (B/ L/ D)
Bus pick up from Lao Cai Station to Sapa. Check-in hotel. Breakfast then start the tour by Jeep to silver waterfall, Tram Ton pass - from this highest pass in Vietnam, starts the strenuous climb to the peak. 8 hours through primitive forest, many small streams and bamboo forests…reach the top of 2,700m, make tents, and prepare for dinner. This is the 1st night for travelers, guide and porters to seat friendly close to each others beside the fire to enjoy the tasty moment that all have once in the life of experience.

Day 02: 2,700 m – Fansipan peak - Sapa (B, L)
A hard climb heads up to the top the summit. At the top you will be the vanquisher. Take your time to enjoy yourself, take pictures and your lunch then descend the same way or take another way to go down to the foot of the mountain and take a jeep back to Sapa. Bus to Lao Cai Station to get night train back to Ha Noi. Tour end at Ha Noi train station in the next day (5h00 am). Please find your own way to your hotel, a taxi normally costs you a set of 50,000 VND (2-3 usd).

Private tour: To do the tour privately. The tour is not fixed, it is possible to be customized for your group. All service is reserved for your group only. You do not have to share the bus, boat, tour guide with other tourists. One exception, if you stay at the boat in Halong bay - it is like the hotel in Halong - you still have to share the boat with other people.
