Option 1: Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan

The Night Before:

Transfer from your hotel to the Ha Noi Train Station for boarding at 9:30 pm. Our guide will pick you up to get on train. You will be in shared A/C sleeper cabins of 4 persons to travel North to Lao Cai town.

Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B, L, D)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 6:30 am where your OPENTOUR guide will welcome you. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1.5 hours). Breakfast on the way then start the tour with 12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. After lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life, work and original custom. Home stay at the Dzay local house.

Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan - Sapa (B, L)

Have breakfast then say goodbye to the minority owner. We trek 3 km throught Bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village (Red dao minority people ). Have soft break at rattan bridge –the oldest rattan bridge in Sapa. Visit some house and continue to go to Supan village . Have lunch at the village. Afternoon: Back to Sapa by van. Back to Sapa hotel . Free shower before take bus to Lao Cai. Bus take you to Lao Cai. Have dinner in restaurant before night train to Ha Noi. Then see off.

Day 3: Arrive Hanoi

Tour end at Ha Noi train station about 5h00 am. Please find your own way to your hotel, a taxi normally costs you a set of 50,000 VND (2-3 usd)

Option 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho

The Night Before:

Transfer from your hotel to the Hanoi Train Station for boarding at 9:30 pm. You will be in shared A/C sleeper cabins of 4 (6) to travel North to Lao Cai town.

Day 1: Sapa – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho (B, L, D)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at about 6:30 am where your OPENTOUR guide will welcome you. Then take a morning drive through the clouds by car / van to Sapa (about 1.5 hours). Check-in hotel. Breakfast then start the tour with 12 km by jeep then trek down hill to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. Follow along the side of Muong Hoa stream to Giang Ta Chai village of the red Dzao where we have lunch at a local family. After lunch, we keep hiking to Ban Ho, the village lies in the beautiful valleys, home-stay at the Tay minority house to experience the architecture of their traditional house on stilts and spend time beside them to exchange the cultures and knowledge. Home stay at the Tay local house.

Day 2: Around Ban Ho - Sapa (B, L)

2km walking to a very nice waterfall discovered and named “the Lavie” by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy swimming then picnic-lunch on the bank. In the afternoon trek 4 km up to the main road o get the jeep to return to Sapa. Bus to Lao Cai Station to get night train back to Hanoi. Tour end at Hanoi train station.

Seat-in-coach tours: To join with other people on available daily tours. These tours are fixed itinerary and departure time. It is possible to join in even your group of only 1 or 2 people. Customer do not to find other people to form the group. It is our company duty to gather the tourists for each tour. For these tours, you have to share the coach, boat and tour guide with other tourists who come from different nationalities. The number of people of this group is normally less than 20 persons.
