Itinerary in brief

Day1: In My Hiep

Day2: In Ha Tien

Detail program

Day 1: In My Hiep, take a 3 – hour boat trip crusing through Rung Tram forest which was used by the socalled VIET CONG ARMY during the anti-American war time as a base called Xeo Quyt. That was a vast forest with deserted canal surrounded by aquatic grass and plants, tall trees and vines. See the making of incense sticks. Overnight in Chau Doc

Day 2: Do a row boat trip to visit floating houses with caged fish breeding, a village of Cham ethnic minority, Moslem mosque, towel weaving. Visit Lady Chua Xu temple before leaving for Hon Chong. See round a pagoda on grottoes. Contemplate the beautiful sunset in the country. Overnight in Ha Tien.

Day 3: Full day free for sun-bathing, walk around Chua Hang grottoes. Overnight in Ha Tien.

Day 4: Ha Tien to Hon Chong ( 30Km ) : See around Mui Nai beach, a Fishing village and Thach Dong cave. Continue on to Can Tho for overnight.

Day 5: See round Cai Rang floating market, a vermicelli making shop and a rice husking mill. Take a 2 and a half boat trip to see the magnetic natural setting and peaceful life in rural Vietnam with thatched cottages and fruit gardens. Back to Saigon by bus.
