Laos and the Northern Mountains
The ethnic minority area around Luang Prabang is the most visited, but tourism has hardly spread further than its environs go deeper into Northern Laos, Muangsing, LuangNam Tha area and the ethnic costumes are a riot of colour! you’ll find remote villages hardly touched by tourism.
The northern most region including Phongsali have the least experience of tourism, so you're likely to find only the the most basic levels of accommodation.

The Southern Laos

The minority people of the southern Laos differ considerably from their northern counterparts not just by ethnicity, but also by a lifestyle adapted to the climate of the broad plateaux on which they live. Their ethnic costumes are less vibrant than those in the north, but the fascinating buildings and traditions more than compensate.

Day 2
By Bitten Lorry to Luang Namtha 200 Km, Many Stops en route to Visit Local Villages: Lantan, Hmong, Lao Theung, Overnight at Luang Namtha Hotel.

Day 3
Visit Local Market and some Villages in Surrounding : Lantan, Thai Dam, Hmong, then by Bitten Lorry to Muangsing, Overnight.

Day 4
Full Day Visit by Walking and Bitten Lorry to Ethnic Villages : IKOR, YAO, Hmong, LU…Overnight at Muang Sing.

Day 5
By Bitten Lorry to Oudomxai, Many Stps en Route : Walking to Visit Local Villages : Hmong, Lao Theung, IKOR, LU… Overnight at Oudomxai.

Day 6
By Bitten Lorry to BounTAI, Visite en route, Ban Muang LA, Pak Nam NOI, Hmong, Lu Village, Overnight with local house of LU Village Ban NAVAI.

Day 7
Full Day Walking to Visit Local Villages : Hmong , IKOR and Lu… Overnight at Ban Navai.

Day 8
By Bitten Lorry to Phonsaly, Visite en route : LU, IKOR, Phou NOI,
Overnight at Hotel.

Day 9
Visit Hmong and Phou Noi Villages, then By Bitten Lorry to Hat SAA, Proceed by Motor Boat to Muang Khoua with stops to Visit Hmong and Ikor villages, Overnight at Muang Khua Guest House.

Day 10
By Local Motor Boat to Muong NGOI with stops to Visit Hmong, Lu Village Ban Muong Ngoi Kao, Ban Nam Bak, Nayang, Overnight at Muong Gnoi Guest House.

Day 11
By Traditional Boat to Luang Prabang, Many Stops to Visit Local Villages , Tham Ting Pak OU Caves, Ban Sang HAI (Lao Wine Distillation Village). Upon Arrival Transfer to Hotel/Luangprabang for Overnight.

Day 12
Full Day City Tour of Luang Prabang : Visit Wat Vixun, Aham, Xiengthong, Wat Sene, Wat Mai, Weaving village Phanom, Santi Chedi Stupa and Mt. Phousi in Sunset.

Day 13
Full Day Visit National Museum, Kuangsi water fall, Hmong and Khmu villages. Return Back to Luang Prabang, By Boat to Visit Pottery Village Ban Chane, Soft Trekking to Visit Wat Longkhoune/Wat Tham, Wat Xieng Mene and Chomphet.

Day 14
Overland by A/C Bus to Vang Viang, Visit Tham Chang Cave, by Local Boat to Visit Tham NONE Cave, Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15
Continuation by road to Vientiane, Transfer to Hotel.
PM : Visit Wat Prakeo, Sisaket, That Luang, Patuxai, Overnight at Hotel.

Day 16
Visit Central Market for shopping, Transfer to Airport for Departure, End Of Services
