Day 01: O/N on Bus, arrival Dong Ha.
Day 02: Joining DMZ tour, O/N on Dong Ha town
Day 03: O/N on Bus, back to Ha Noi

Quang Tri is located in the central Vietnam near the crossways between North and South Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. Several different minorities populate this province (Kinh, Bru-Van Kieu).From 1954 until the defeat of the Americans in 1975, Ben Hai river marked the division of Vietnam. There are sites nearby: Truong Son trails, Truong Son National cementary, Vinh Moc tunnels, Khe Sanh combat base. Dong Ha – the provincial capital of Quang Tri Province, home of the DMZ- served as the hotpot during much of the controversial Vietnam war. Such famous place names as Khe Sanh Combat base, Con Tien Fire base, Doc Mieu Fire base, Lang Vei Special Forces Camp, Camp Carroll, Fuller, the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, the Demilitarized Zone, Vinh Moc tunnels, Hightway of Horrors, Street without Joy…have gained wide publicity. So once you are in central, don’t miss the chance to come here.

Detail tour program

Day 01 : Ha Noi - Dong Ha

19h00: Take Open Bus to Dong Ha ( Quang Tri province). Overnight on the BUS

Day 02 : DMZ (The Demilitarized Zone) tour (B/ L/ D)

7h00: Arrive Dong Ha town, check in hotel and have breakfast

8. 00: Join tour & take on route 09, an old French- built road penetrating into Laos for some American bases.

8. 30: Visit Camp Carroll, the biggest base for long – gange artillery bellows the DMZ.

9. 30: Stop over to view Rockpile- the pile of rock- a huge US marine look- out. On the way visit Van Kieu village

10.30: Arrive in Khe Sanh valley and Khe Sanh Combat Base. Visit the museum of the base and walk around the base.

11.30: Lunch at Khe Sanh Town.

13.00: Visit one of the main branches of the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

14.30: Visit the Ta Con airport

15.30: Visit the Mc Namara Electronic barrier.

16.30. Arrive in Vinh Moc tunnels, an underground village system in the “free fire zone of the Vinh Linh district”.

18.00: Arrive in at the middle of the DMZ, stop en route to visit Hien Luong bridge- the Ben Hai river- the former temporary military demarcation line between North and South Vietnam. Come back to hotel for Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Dong Ha - Ha Noi

• Option 1: Take Open Bus to Huecity at 7h30am. Finish tour
• Option 2: Free time in the morning for swimming at Cua Tung beach.1Take bus back to Ha Noi, overnight on Bus. Arrive Ha Noi in the next day (7h00am). Finish tour.
